My Little Storybook

My Little Storybook is an award winning interactive digital book created and published by AFADesign. It is a story of a bird family crossing the river. With the concept inspired by Japanese anime, we created this storytelling web experience for FREE to everyone.

It was a challenge for us to deliver a full storytelling experience within one month of production timeline. Instead of using the cinematic photorealistic art style like most of our client’s work, we tried to mimic the Japanese anime look and feel for this experiment.

From the rocks, the river, the birds to the grass strips, we handcrafted the 3D assets ourselves and mixing the beautiful hand drawing artworks into WebGL to deliver this beautiful imaginative story.
